I am a type 2 diabetic who has been taking one 500mg metformin tablet for the last 5 years. My Hba1c range has been around 6.5 to 7.0
Last November I started to develop a rash on my skin on my legs which then spread to my hands and body.
It’s diagnosed as Lichen Planus.
It is a horrible condition leaving me exhausted all the time .
There is some research on the internet that suggests that this condition is due to taking Metformin Tablets.
Has anyone who is diabetic experienced this condition and if so, how did you tackle it.
