Skin rash and diabetes

I am doubting to visit a GP because I have a small skin rash on my body which looks like it could be shingles. My bloodsugars are
fine and the information I found on shingles is that if it is located on a small part of the body, treatment is not necessary for healthy persons. My question is, can I take the risk of not seeing a doctor or should I be careful since I have diabetes ?

Better to get the rash looked at by your gp.
