From the link I posted It seems reasonable to me 50 wipes for £17.50.

I get mine from Funky Pumpers, but will look at @Tipetoo ’s link, it’s cheaper!

Edited to add that I clicked on the link they have extortionate shipping, so it’s actually dearer. Ah well.

What sets is he using ? I am on sure t’s and use the Medtronic, no issues at all with these.

sorry but dont use medtronic ( or adhesive wipes ) looks like there are a couple alternatives out there ... best of luck !!!

Unfortunately they do not supply skin tac to help stick his pump down, due to the recent hot weather and changes in his body he's been finding it very difficult to get this to stick and could do it 3 or 4 times before it does. I was wondering if you could contact your son’s diabetes specialist and ask him if he would prescribe it. When I had issues with my pump ( I had a reaction to the adhesives of Medtronic) my specialist prescribed me a special spray to put on before inserting the set and also something to put over it just in case it came off. It became part of my regular prescription from my family doctor. This could be what you are taking about as I have no idea now what it was called.

I think it’s always better to speak to your specialist at the hospital about the problem, they usually have the solution as they have come across the same problems with other patients.

If you can’t get a quick appointment with him/her, then ask the diabetes specialist nurse at your clinic, they can usually, in my experience, give you something to put you over until you see the consultant. They usually have a magical supply cupboard

As we say in Newcastle “shy bairns get nowt”.
And having to insert three or four times is such a nightmare as well as painful. You might also be able to get it directly on prescription by talking to your GP if they happen to be enlightened.
