People who are touchy.......feign indignation at the slightest thing. Hypocrites, bullies and cowards.
Here is a link to the Sky News website with an item about Diabetes 'treatment.'
It is claimed that it may cut Heart Attack risks in Diabetics ?

Would have helped if they actually said what this treatment that achieved a reduction in HbA1c levels actually was instead of just calling it 'intensive'. There are other links worth a read.

That was from the BBC link - what will it take for Diabetes UK to actually start giving some useful advice!!!? :roll:

The people for whom tighter 'sugar control' won't be appropriate for are those who relish the thought of all those exciting diabetic complications looming and all the fun they'll have with medications and failing health.

That sound you hear in the background is the sound of our heads tapping against the brick wall that is Diabetes UK and their bonkers advice...
 
How in gods name is poor control in anyones interest? Are there special medical conditions that benefit from undulating sugar levels?

Yes, selling carbs and selling medications to deal with the consequences of eating too many of them.
