Type 2 Sleep disturbances?

Has anyone experienced nightmares and disturbed sleep/shouting out //arm waving etc? I am Type 2 on a cocktail of 1000mg Metformin , Lipitor 40 mgms, Irbestartin 75 mgs daily. My Haibc varies between 48/53 and 6;5- 7.8mmols post prandial.
I have not previously had any problems with sleep, but now this disturbed pattern manifests most nights . My doctor just laughed- unfortunately my partner doesn't find it amusing! any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's got worse with age.

Oh, yeah, worse when ill or when my bloods were fluctuating wildly.

The wife won't sleep most nights with me.

Thank you guys I really was getting worried- it makes sense about fluctuating bloods, but I was also wondering if it was a response to the Statin.I don't have a good relationship with them, this is the third one I have been prescribed.
