Smart watch

Hi, recent new self-funded libre 2 user.

I would like to get readings on a watch, I understand it’s fiddly, third party apps etc.

One question, does the watch talk to the sensor or do you always need your phone present as well? I want to just primarily use watch and sensor?

Do you have to turn off the libre phone app if using a watch or can both be used to check levels?

I've got Diabox on my G Watch4, via my Pixel phone. It's fiddly and Bluetooth drops out a lot but still worth the hassle; my ehb1c has dropped a point. Diabox does not like sharing the Bluetooth so Librelink has to be disabled for it to work, not ideal. Direct sensor to watch would be my preference too. Juggluco offers the chance to connect directly but with no guarantee of working. Give it a go. I'd be very interested to follow how you get on.
