Type 1 Snacking before bed

I definitely do!
Nothing to do with diabetes though, just something I've done for decades, way before diabetes.
The only thing that has changed since diabetes is the type of snack, there is no way I can dose for a generous portion of crisps right before bed.

I always say I simply have my breakfast very early, before sleeping. :hilarious:
Saves me time in the morning, when I'm only interested in coffee anyway.

I used to always when I was on mix-your-own from a vial twice a day, because I'd go low otherwise (breakfast cereal was my goto - a weetabix with sugar, mmmm, making me hungry just thinking about it!)

These days it depends on what I've had for supper and whether I'm guesstimated my split bolus correctly. I'm more likely to take a correction dose before bed (because I eat too late so there's still carbs on board when I head for bed), though if I've been out drinking (alcohol) or done lots of exercise I will eat a snack to avoid the inevitable overnight low.

I am Type 2 with Insulin assisted.
I too have snacks at night.I'm going to substitute these for a piece of fruit. Is that allowed
