Snacking

You definitely identified me - if I'm busy I'm good not thinking about food. Sit down (especially at my mums) and it's right what can I have . To be fair my issues aren't with biscuits I don't have a sweet tooth (good job) but I love crisps! These are hard for me too as they are fatty which I find a bit of a bolus nightmare. I must say though if I cut them out for a week I go off them a bit and my tastes change hmmm
That's interesting as I am a crisp addict too!! I have friends that are chocoholics but I can leave chocolate for months! I got given an Easter Egg this year by my employer and I still have it intact! Savoury snacks on the other hand...

Mums aye? My mum has made reference to said Easter Egg still being there every time she comes round, I know she would just love me to crack it open! She also brings in all the sweet treats into my house, I find it weird that she brought me up as a type 1 diabetic most of my child hood and still doesn't seem to get it!!

This may not be relevant, but snacks which boost your BG rapidly can leave you wanting another when your BG comes down later.

If so, try foods with a lower glycaemic index. Meals too.

Raw vegetables?
