Snow, snow and more snow!

We are currently under a white leaden sky with a good covering of the white stuff!
I live in a part of the U.K., Where it is unusual to get this frozen rain. Can't remember the last time we had a storm of this whiteness. Ice, white and black! Lots of rain but never cold enough to get a blanket like this. And more on the way, but apparently not a white Christmas this year!
 
Rather grim here too, with snow churned up and frozen over.
With the already crowded A&E clinics, I am not chancing adding to the workload, and staying indoors.
pity those who have no indoors to retreat to.
 
Couple of inches of snow frozen solid.
Don't think it will thaw for at least the next week but doesn't look like any snow or rain will be falling for a week.
What happened to the CO2 then has it fallen out of the sky?

It's in the ice!
It's in the puddles of now thawed snow, it's still not got above freezing yet today!
Took the dog out before on the snow and ice, he wasn't impressed!
I don't think he enjoyed it!
He still wants to go out!
He still doesn't want to be out there long!
I don't blame him, freezing!
 
It's pretty cold in Wales also. Must be my age (73). I just go out for the necessities and
fe tching my granddaugher from school. She had ent heard from her father(not my son) for at least
7 weeks then all of a sudden he send her a video from Scotland just bragging about his trip and dident
even ask her how she was.5 mins latter another text. 'd not you want to speak to your father ' just beyond.

she is A 10 yr old kid now and the thing is we never told her what to do. Because he was her father after all.
She has dicided for herself now (Think that is pretty Amazing for a 10 yrs old kid).She has decided herself now
that she will not answer

Another thing I can't quite un understand is the
relation to weather and women's hair(female myself)style. Seeing a friend on the way to the Indian store
up the hill(really nice people, really like them).'An t you cold' I said(about the same age as me)
'Haven't you got a cap on'. 'Just had my hair done'. She said . What's more important hairstyle
Or weather.
 
I'm in Wales too.
In the north in a small village on a hillside basically.
I'm originally from Manchester but moved here thirty five years ago.
 
Just north of North Wales, protected usually by Snowdonia. But this cooling has come from the arctic via Scotland and the northern part of Britain. Yesterday had a full day of staying below freezing around here! Warmed a tad, 0.5 degrees, then dropped again this afternoon.
we don't get this weather!
Also, warning on some local weather forecasts for us around here on Friday, going to be a storm, like a winter weather bomb of snow.
however back to more seasonal weather next week, wet and windy. Around ten degrees, unless Hounslow in and around Snowdonia when it might be cold enough for snow! Ha!
Used to work with people from North Wales. Some good, some bad, some............!!

Having no hair, except for shaving is the way to go!

Cold everywhere really. But still glad that I don't live in Siberia. I think that I would just di e there.
imagine just for a minute sending all those people there, Thousands died on the way.

A cloth cap doesent cover your ears does it. There I go again. Trying to be somebody's
Mother.
 
But I just love the 'Scourers'. Just their original
Humour. Gets me all the time.
 
Being born and dragged up in Scouse land. Right next to the docks and bombed sites. You have to have a sense of humour.
Poverty is a joke in a country where the economy is the fifth biggest in the world.
 
Minus 10 in my garden this morning at 6am! Wow!

You have to wonder, if we are overall having warmer years?
We have not had snow for years, now twice within a month or so. And winter is far from over!
 
Huge swathes of the northern hemisphere are snow and ice bound and have been since the start of December.
Even Saudi Arabia have been having snow.

And mid Europe heatwave of up to 19'!

My bulbs are still growing!!
 
Pretty Baltic this morning in NE Fife, no snow, thankfully, loath the stuff.
Sunrise over the Tay was pretty amazing, the colours of red....
 
Snow in N Wales but not to much where I am.
Biggest problem is it's frozen solid!
Lot of road accidents mostly involving youngsters who don't seem to have been told you have to adjust your driving to the conditions.
It's not safe out there and I have to go out later!
