Not long back from my 6 month review with my dsn and I couldn't be more happy with my results.
My HbA1c was 90 when diagnosed last June, then 43 last September and today it's gone down to 36.
I have also lost just under 3 stones (18kg) in weight as well since June. I am so chuffed to bits with myself.

How lovely that you have such good news, you must of worked very hard, enjoy your achievement .....best wishes Kat

Must be a day for good news as I saw my DSN today with very similar results.

HBa1c on diagnosis was 60, down to 45 in October last year and now down to 36

Blood Pressure down from 140/80 to 125/65

Weight down from 95.5kg to 77.8kg

4 inches off waist and chest

Medication: stopped Gliclazide and Metformin SR reduced from 4 to 1 tablet with intention of moving to diet only after next review in 3 months.

Further proof that LCHF works.

DSN Said I deserved a Platinum star not Gold. More importantly she was very interested in how I had achieved it so left her with the paper from Southport GP which she was very interested in reading. Another convert maybe?

Great stuff, Madbazoo. Congratulations!

Well done NicolaB70 & Madbazoo. Unbelievable results. You must both be working very hard. Keep it up! (But have a little treat I think, you deserve it.)

Many thanks to you all for all the kind wishes you've given me. I think I'm still in a bit of shock at my results and how much weight I've actually lost, I really wasn't expecting it to be as much as it was. It has given me new motivation to beat my new target my dsn has set for me to lose for when I see her again in 6 months time.
