Being type 1, my health and what really grates me are false people who make themselves out to be something when their not
Got my latest HbA1c result yesterday a stonking 39 which is 5.7 in old terms. Just so pleased with myself I must be doing something right although my potassium levels are still low. And on another positive note I've just got my second week all clear of MRSA so 1 more week of being clear and they'll proceed with my operation. Positive start for 2015 , pat on back time I think...

I am so pleased for you, particularly about the news about MRSA (at last!):)
 
Hmmm low carb, I suppose I am sought of my carb intake a day is approximately 70-100 cho a day which is lower than I normally was, ( when I first got type 1 I was on 240grms of carb a day and bought that down to 180grms when I started pumping in 1999) , I just cannot grasp the whole concept of LCHF I've always ate healthily meat fish etc but I do like fruits and a granary roll each day and it is all varied. I've taken a lot of advice from the forum recently, and also exercising more than I use to but I am restricted on what I can do. I must be doing something right. :-) thanks for the kind support
