So I just got diagnosed

Hey,

My names Michael, I'm 26 and I just got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.. I don't really know what to say really... I'm a pretty average guy, didn't expect my week to be as it has been ha! But nevermind it is what it is.

I have a feeling I'm gonna be popping on this forum quite a bit in the future so thought I give ya'll a nod from me :)

I've posted a few queries in the newly diagnosed forum, if anyone could please help answer a few newbie qustions help me gather my senses it would help me a shed load!

You will get responses mate but I think most of them are tucked up in bed just now.
 
Hi huni welcome to the forum, I'm not a T1 so afraid I can't help, but I'm sure you'll get loads of help here, just hang on for a few hours lol

Hi Mike & welcome to the forum, same goes for me I'm type 2 don't know too much re type 1 but there are many here and very helpful. The diagnosis can be quite daunting so hang in there.

There is a also a Type 1 thread where it may also be helpful for you to post.
