ThanksYou are doing very well.
Thanks, its all down to the support here; the advice from the nurse at my diagnosis was you can carry on eating bread and other carbs. It was only when I found this site I got great advice...Nice going
The dreaded statins...What has the GP threatened you with unless you get the cholesterol down? Actively losing weight can mess with cholesterol levels, don't stress about it. Fantastic work on all your new numbers, well done!
Thank you, as I said above the support on this forum has really helped me..very fine results be proud of yourself......
Got my first set of post diagnosis results earlier today.
Hba1c down from 54 to 42 RESULT!
Cholesterol up from 4.3 to 6.7 OPPS!
Weight down from 118Kg to 102Kg RESULT!
Blood pressure down from 134/96 to 117/78 RESULT!
Given 3 months to get cholesterol under control, so guess I need to cut fat in diet a little.
A big thanks to everyone on the forums who has helped and supported my journey.

The dreaded statins...
Thanks I will check it out as the doctor didn't give me a break down. Not so fast on the cholesterol. High cholesterol is protective as long as its the right sort!
Check the components - if trigs are low (under 1 ) and HDL is high over 1.6- then I think you are in jackpot territory and no need to change anything ! others have some reference website to look at.
Congratulations on the numbers
Thanks, I'll have a look when I get the breakdown from the docs.Highly unlikely to be necessary
look up Hypo responders and Dave Feldman research

I made some time to listen to the biohackers podcast, I now know how to hack the test next time round. It's crazy that eating between 4200 and 5500 calories of as much satuated fat as you can tolerate and then fast for 14hrs before the blood test willl actually improve all your figures and ratios.Highly unlikely to be necessary

Thank you for pointing me in this direction.
