Soft Drinks In pun

Soda is ok, probably not the blackcurrant as it’s probably full sugar, most of the pub cordials will be. It’s very difficult to get sugar free drinks apart from Coke or Pepsi in pubs, even the tonics are usually the trendy ones like Fevertree light,that are, I think from memory about 12g sugar.

Try sparkling or still water with a slice of lemon or lime or like I say diet drinks like coke - I usually go for bottles/cans rather than from the pump as mistakes can happen
 
I go for a small white wine topped up with 2, 3 or even 4 times the amount of soda
Or a lot of pubs these days do decent cup of tea or coffee
 
Wine and soda @MrsA2? Really? Egads! :D But I can imagine how it could be good for legal driving, and a bit of the alcohol and wine taste, but less fattening and even refreshing.... Hmmmm, will ponder upon it....

It is with soda water, not soda as in American soft drinks.
I just find it adds a little flavour to water without adding too many sugars, and it looks like a gin and tonic so no one else realsies you are hardly drinking, or drinking low carb. Doesn't seem to affect my bg. Barmen do look at me oddly at how diluted it is, but it works for me, and they still get their money.
 
It’s called a white wine spritzer, obviously though it’s alcoholic so not a soft drink which is what @johnnym1 was asking about
