I'm on low carb but not diabetic. My husband is low carb and he's the diabetic. But my question isn't strictly about diabetic food.
I am waiting for referral to the dental hospital for the removal of a root, top front tooth. I had both top front teeth out and was to get implants but the root means I need to wait.
I cant eat anything at all hard or crunchy, or I hit the roof - and I'm living on porridge and cuppa soup. The only soft foods I can think of are high carb like pasta and mashed potatoes.. I'm not mad on eggs. Can anybody think of something I can eat before I go mad/starve/balloon ?

Hi,

Most slow cooked foods like pulled pork, stews, etc. go very soft. And there are a LOT of low carb, or LC adaptable recipes.
You could also make soups - basically all the ingredients (meat, fish, veg, etc.) that your partner is eating, tip them into a pan with some stock, and blend with a hand blender. Instant, thick, lovely soup.

For example, one of my favourite soups is Roast Chicken.
I rip the chicken, including skin, from the bones, and pop it into the blender with all the Sunday roast veg, and bacon and/or herbs, if you like sage and onion stuffing. Top up with chicken stock and blend. Lovely.
