I had drastically changed my diet about two months ago and had reduced my mmol quite significantly. However, this week I have eaten two large bags of salted blue corn doritos. They said they were 1.2g of sugar per 100g and the bags are 150g so I thought they might be alright. In addition to this I have been eating a lot of nuts: salted and black pepper cashews, unsalted almonds and unsalted brazils. My reading after fasting and just before I eat is 6.0. Previously it was as low as 4.5 to 5.5 (ish), but I would be starving at the time. I think I have put a little weight back on -I'm not a large person anyway. I was incredibly stressed over the last week to the point where my chest felt like it was about to explode. Can anyone shed some light on the issue? Thanks.
