I find music of all genres a great comfort when I'm down. What songs tell it better for you and your diabetes?

I'll start with a few

Wild is the wind- David Bowie

Raindrops keep falling on my head

Running to stand still-U2

Can't always get what you want- rolling stones

Stuck in a moment cant get out of - U2

Young hearts run free - Candy Stanton

Immortality - Celine Dion/The Bee Gee's

It'll be alright - Kennyg with Peabo Bryson [vocals]

My Wish - Rascal Flatts

These are guaranteed to either soothe me or chill me out :P

Anna.

Songs that relax me include
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Albatross - Fleetwood Mac
A Thousand Kisses Deep - Leonard Cohen
The Flying Theme from ET
Barber's Adagio
For picking me up Classic Rock every time

Easy listening music does it for me, especially from the sixties, I know, I know ....Boooooooring.

Well tough cookie, I love them :D

Percy Faith.......Anything
Henry Mancini...Anything
Ray Coniff........Anything
James Last.......Anything
Eddy Arnold......Make The World Go Away.
Al Martino........Spanish Eyes.

Ray Coniff....I've been looking for a copy of the
very first tune I recorded on my first tape recorder
way back in the 60's as I was having breakfast.

WAIT, I can hardly believe it, I've just found it on you tube.

All these years I've been searching for the wrong title.
And I've found it at last, I've just played it,
but now me speakers aren't working :? :? :?

I don't care, I don't care I'll buy a new pair tomorrow.
Providing that is...she, who must be obeyed, gives me some money.
She's a bully you know...and a tyrant, you've no idea what's she's like.

And when she's been at the Gin, Pffft, life's not worth living.

Can you just imagine her, hair in curlers, head scarf on top.
Fag hanging out the corner of her mouth, one eye half closed as
the smoke rises up her face while she checks her line from the bookies.

Gin bottle sticking out the pocket of her stained flowery pinnie.
She keeps her purse in that pocket too, all soggy with spilt stale Gin,
so I never get the chance to nick a quid or two out of it.

Anyway, I don't care, I don't care, I've found the tune I've been looking for.
RRB........I Love You.

willie.

Whenever I'm feeling down, I listen to this:

As a 20 year old listening to Tom Jones, I never hear the end of it. I just don't care though - what a legend!

I'm in my twenties too and I list muddy waters and credence Clearwater revival as my favourite artists of all time. No shame in liking oldies.

Listening to dry the rain by beta band right now in the sunshine with my good friends Mr kush and Mr nescafe. Bliss.

What a music list Giverny it's fantastic, and what an achievement.

Me better half and me enjoy listening to all sorts from this orchestra.
It definitely will not be to everyone's taste, but they cheer
us up any time we listen to them.

Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole. Somewhere Over The rainbow.

Me better half is neither here nor there with this chap,
but for such a big lad he had a really sweet gentle voice.

His heart finally gave up on June 26, 1997. he was only 38).
