I use sugar free Strepsils which come in different flavours. You can only take a certain number each day so carbs are minimal and as my pharmacist said - don't worry about it !

Do you not gargle with Glenfidch :?:
£7 off at Morrisons by the way
CAROL

Glenfiddich .......GARGLE !!! Are you mad Woman ? It costs me £80 a bottle ! I sit there, sip it and savour the aroma, the smoothness and the taste. Heaven.

If there's £7 off at Morrisons on the normal stuff - see if they do a 21 year old for me. Whisky that is !

Ken :D

I used to get a pretty bad throat infection every year, that would last for a couple of weeks. Funnily enough, they've stopped now that I lo-carb. I still ocassionally get a little tickle in my throat (but certainly not every year), but it's usually gone in a day or two.

Best thing for it is to just drink LOADS of cold water...

Now - here's a funny thing... If I eat a bar of milk chocolate now that I lo-carb, it actually burns my throat. A very strange sensation.

What about good old TCP, never knew how anyone could gargle this stuff as it tasted absolutely vile. Some would swear by it and my grandmother would use it for mouth infection and ulcers, but I just hated the smell let alone the taste!

You can buy TCP lozenges but I dont know if they are sugar coated or how vile they taste :(

Less of the old if you don't mind ! We have had phoenix upset about ageist remarks made by Nigel. I think it is uncalled for. I'm sure we have a rule about it somewhere ?

Seriously - It took me a while to find the best Scots Whisky. It was hard work but hey somebody has to do it. I just wish I could remember what the others were like !
,
Worked with a Japanese cop once who presented me with a bottle of one of their equivalent Whiskeys .Now I'm not usually a fan of paintstripper but it wasn't half bad ! We drank the bottle one night between us and boy was he a velly happy man.
