Have been told I have to be treated as a hospital outpatient as T1, usually 6 months between appointments, but now haven't seen them for 15 months. They add no value, so no big miss on my part, the internet has always been my biggest support function.

If this condition spreads at the current rates, then yes, it'll only be a matter of time. I think it's a great idea. Imagine being surrounded by other "real" people who have the freedom to discuss their issues and consultants that have the background knowledge .
