Hi all,

I’m after a little advice. Currently I have to administer my insulin last thing at night. The problem I’m having is that I’m now on 30 units and I’m finding it a lot last thing at night.

Therefore, how do you spilt the dose? Obviously, I’m aware it would be 15 units morning, then evening.
Would there need to be a specific time frame left in between?

Levemir is the insulin I’m taking.

Thanks all, comments all appreciated x

Hi @Libby3781 , you could check with your DSN (or whoever looks after you). I split my Levemir (though not 50% / 50%), and take them 12 hours apart, however everyone is different, so probably best to check with your clinician first.
