Did a 30min stomp down to the river with the dogs this morning, then 20mins kick about football in the field with the dogs this evening. Pretty tricky, because the ball's gone flat, so you have to dribble it for ever to get the air back into it after it's been squashed by a dog's mouth! - all whilst avoiding low flying splats of drool and slobber - they would certainly give Drogba a run for his money!

Did another 15 mins on bike to escape junior ranting about politics in kitchen.

Did 20 mins walk and then 4 x 5 mins walks. It was hard to find the time today because I've been visiting an Aunt for most of the day and then been to the dentist this evening. He gave me flowers for letting 5 students watch when he fitted my implant. I like flowers. I like my dentist. He likes me because I pay him lots of money.

....your dentist's very lucky zand, there aren't many people who like them...

...very pleased today as Harry the ginger moggie who belongs to me and my daughter [long story, basically he's hers now as I moved to a flat] has been declared cancer free...they were convinced he had mouth cancer, no biopsy [£800 if results were negative, as insurance wouldn't pay out] but given 3 months to live.....6 months later he's very alive and kicking and tuned out to be a nasty allergy, growth virtually gone, the lovely vet was genuinely thrilled...

...all of which turned my lunchtime walk into a much faster one, it spurred me on, think I covered much more than usual in the 45 minutes...[where's the thumbs up smiley]

I like my dentist because he makes me laugh. He supports Notts Forest. lol

That's really good news about Harry. I am thrilled too. Good walking too Pollylocks,

I did my hour round trip to Lidl in double time today. Came back hot but pleased with myself.

Thanks zand I'm sure its the support in here keeps us all going for as long as we have.

Lovely day here today, 2 x 10 minutes on rower to burn off breakfast and dinner, plus 40 minute walk in the afternoon. Up at 5 in the morning to get train to London for meeting, will try and walk instead of the last tube stop.

It was nice in Ayrshire until 3 ..raining now , I think its because my daughter "washed" the windows.

Your post makes me want to take a shower. Asda has got source shower gel on offer. Bought vanilla and raspberry to try and the smell is heavenly. Smells like strawberry milkshake. Note to self: do not eat! Just got into bed and I can smell it. We have the coconut one but the raspberry one is my fave!

Today I am determined to get back on track. Not quite there yet. I went out for a walk and only ended up doing 30 minutes. I will do the other 10 (at least) later.

OK, having been in hospital all day, can I count the walk from the hospital to the car park and up the steps to the 3rd floor as 5 mins and then a walk round Tesco to get something easy for family's evening meal as another 5 mins please.?
