Am in the dog house this morning.
During the night, I woke up feeling rough, so decided to do a test.
I felt something that wasn't the same as normal, but couldn't see anything.
My BGL was 3.1, haven't got a clue how it got so low, but got something to eat and drink, tested again, and went back to sleep.
This morning, we found out why the finger prick didn't feel right last night.
The bedroom looked like a crime scene, the blood spatter was up the sheets, pillow, lamp shade and wall paper.
I have had squirts in the past, but nothing like this, and never when BGL was so low.

Hope all is well now.
You may have accidentally hit an artery, do you think your GP should be advised to be on the safe side.

Best of luck
Roy :)

I have to honest, I was a little worried about what this post was going to be about!

The same thing happened to me a while ago. Not as dramatic from the sounds of it. I was just got in my car and did the usual blood test. Blood sprayed out all over the lining of the roof. Never did manage to completely get rid of the mark! It became quite bruised after a day or two.

It has only happened the once. Strange!

Em
