Hi, all I'm recently diagnosed type 2, currently taking 1 80mg gliclazide and 2 500mg meteorite one at breakfast and one at dinner. I need to loose about 5 Stone, I've gone l from 39.1 (HbA1c well over 100) at diagnosis down to Ave of 5.4. Still waiting new HbA1c.
I want to start on LCHF to help with weight loss, but I'm a bit confused. I have a few questions.
What should I aim for with my carb intake per day.
What would a typical days meals & snacks look like?
Many thanks in advance, Mark

Reducing your intake of carbs will certainly help control your BG levels. How many carbs a day is a personal thing and is for you to decide really. I would suggest reducing carbs slowly to give your body time to adjust and settle on an amount you feel comfortable with and can sustain long term. Good luck ! Mo

steer clear of the carbs that spike your BG levels ... testing will help you decide which ones you can handle.
