It's turning colder and I am worried that my daily activity will get less and less so I'm setting myself a different challenge, an easier challenge but one that will keep me active up to Santa time.
30 minutes activity 5 times a week. As usual it's not about doing official exercise , it's about being active. Christmas shopping and party night dancing counts.

Anyone want to join me ?

From Monday 20th October to the Sunday before Christmas.

5 days a week because it's the winter and it's harder to do every day.

Good idea. I'll be doing it. I'll start today, as I've got yoga class in half an hour.

Thanks lizdeluz . I'm hoping my sporty forty friends will join me too.

Why not. A lot of mine will be putting house straight after focusing on outside maintenance all summer. Just cleared a bag of rubbish out of wardrobe including some fat bird!'s clothes. She won't be needing them any time soon thanks to the earlier exercise threads x

yay a new thread for me to start afresh - I was really bad at keeping up with the old thread. I'm in, thanks jamrox

Love it ...I like Santa....challenge on ...I like Santa ..great idea jamrox
It is easier to avoid exercise in the winter ....
I dont seem yo be going to any parties though

Yeah cold ethyl my fat bird clothes are going to the charity shop. Glad you re joining too.

Aqualung I needed a new challenge too . I found myself making excuses sometimes . At least 30 minutes 5 times a week means that twice a week I can sit down if I finish work late.

Kat100 I tend to be a couch potato from October to February and all my good work over the other months go away. Soooo here we go .run up to Santa.

Great idea Jamrox
Keep up with the Santa shopping , hunt down
all the good deals and bits for all our loved ones .
Pounding the shops and malls will help keep the BG levels lowered .
Too busy to get bored nibble away at something and raise them .

Vist the garden centre's too for ideas to decorate the home over the
festive period .
Is something else I love to do .

I am intending to keep up attending my weekly exercise class through the winter .
There is the great company of the ladies/gents in the class for myself in the dark evenings .
We also have a quiz and brew catch up with each other after the exercise class .

Look out for the coming santa fayres too .
Another santa fun way to shop and enjoy .
My local supermarkets have posters on these .

Keeping busy is very much key - for myself .
Less time or chance to sit about doing little or less .

Don't do the partying as cant do the booze or late nights .
Suffer too much the day after - its always a 'never again' experience !

Great idea to start a new thread Jamrox, I'm in...

No better way for a lady to get fit than shopping and dancing

Bop or boogie your fun way fitter
Santa shop till you drop - most ladies love to do this

Welcome anna29 great ideas.

Yeah Scandi are you joining us?

I think we should start MONDAY.
