Hi, YEP ... steroid injections indeedy push the BG levels up , I have had 2 steroid injections for a frozen shoulder like iHs above.
Found both times, the pain of it got a bit worse initially before getting better then it dissapeared for 6 months each time.
The steroid injections raised my BG levels for a few days afterwards, then as my shoulder improved becoming painfree the BG levels settled back down again .
Steroid injections can impact on the BG levels, but for me personally it was worth it - despite 4-5 days of elevated BG levels.
Keep eye on your BG levels and am sure they will begin to settle hopefully in a few days.
If they go way too high and give you cause for concern it would be best to seek professional advice.
