I have have had three chesty cough viruses since the end of November and have been coughing so much that my GP put me on a short course of steroids. My blood sugars have jumped into double figures which was expected. However the high blood sugars have badly affected my eyesight. Despite finishing the course of steroids three days ago, my vision is so blurred I am unable to drive. Does anyone have any advice? Is there anything I can do help with this. I am back on a strict low carb diet now that the Festive season is over but am not sure how long it will take for my sugar levels to stablise. My sugar levels caused blurring to my eyesight last August and it took three weeks for things to improve on a strict diet.
