I think I read somewhere a while ago that when you eat the same thing lunch as you did for breakfast you will have completely different post prandial readings. The breakfast reading will be higher!
WOW! That's amazing! Our bodies are an enigma for sure!I think I read somewhere a while ago that when you eat the same thing lunch as you did for breakfast you will have completely different post prandial readings. The breakfast reading will be higher!
So really it just shows that it's not always about the food itself, but of what we have been doing in between our meals I suppose? You can eat an identical meal at the same time every day for a year and get different readings, some similar, some a lot lower, some a lot higher. This whole game is a complete mystery!
Carbs at breakfast are never a good idea. The boiled egg was a good plan!
It could be that or it could also be variations in the readings on your meter..they are not accurate 100% so it depends how large the variations are. I would say the main impact will still be from what you ate any other influences will be much less important. Food is the key.So really it just shows that it's not always about the food itself, but of what we have been doing in between our meals I suppose?
