Yes, what matters is how high the spike was, so test at 1h to know that. It's good and healthy that you're coming down, but you don't want a high spike. That is hard to say but those numbers at 2 hours are not that bad. However, it would be nice to see the 1 hour and 90 min as well to see what the peak is. Additionally, your before eating is a little increased so still some room to improve there. This may/will happen as you lose more weight and well done so far.
Heading in the right direction, well done, especially on the weight loss.Last night Had large rag pudding (beef pudding) with lots of veg to get some compatitive readings and expected possible double figures . Before eating 6.4 two hours after 7.4 and three hours after 5.4 does that mean i tolerate suet pastry ? 5 weeks in now and made big changes to my diet and now down to a midges over 18 stone ,Thats a 1 stone loss in 5 weeks and meter readings more often than not reasonable .
still experimenting using up some stocks of grub Cheese and onion pie but very thin pastry + various veg . Before was 7.5 and cant understand why so high 1 hr 9.2 90 mins 9.8 and 2 hours = 9.6 so it looks like the pie is a no no
That could be a side effect of statins if you take them.wonder if readings have any relation to physical state - as i feel quite awful today with fuzzy head and aches in legs
If I'm checking food eat, if the 1hr or 90min reading is above 3 of the b4 reading I then avoid that item or have less of next time.Sirloin steak with cabbage and sprouts - Before 5.9 after 1 hr 9.2 after 90mins 7.0 Strange that the 1 hr reading was the same as after eating cheese and onion pie. is a jump from 5.9 to 9.2 not a lot considering the foods should be fairly safe or is it good that from a peak of 9.2 a further 30 mins saw it drop to 7.0
