The mods can always move it if they feel strongly about it
The only thing that was ever really said on my course was be under 7 before eating but then with know way of measuring for most T2s how the hell do you know!

The Desmond Course I went on was so morbid and I didn't expect that. Why can't you test? Won't they give you the strips? If not, that's very wrong because how can they expect you to take control?

Most T2s do not get test strips. I got one set from my doctor when I saw him for a reaction to metformin and was taken off them. However, I actually never expected them as I can afford to buy them for myself (I go through about 250/week).

I didn't know that. It's wrong. The ones I have are just short of £16 for 50. I could afford to buy them but I wouldn't be happy paying £90 a week!

I buy the SD codefree ones - 250 cost me about £25
