Just had my second HbA1c test since diagnosis. It's gone up to.... 39 from 38! It was 73 on diagnosis. However this could be down to the following: - A few beers during the world cup. - A few ice creams and french baguettes on holiday in France. - I was on antibiotics for a week last month. However, the bad news is my weight has crept back up to 91kg from 87! But I haven't been swimming in ages due to having a cold and no doubt excessive holiday treats didn't help! My GP reduced my Metformin dose to 500mg x2 daily. However I haven't taken any since April as the side effects didn't agree with me and I wanted a chance to improve on diet alone! Can't wait to tell her when I see her next week. :doctor: I have no idea what the other figures on my results mean (below), however they all appear normal!
