I was trying to tack this onto a previous post but not sure how to search with it. My partner was put on Metformin in December and was subsequently very very ill. He now is down to 12 1/2 stone and had such bad stomach issues he has stopped all medications. We ended up in A & E a few weeks ago they gave him an enema but he has a large lump on his side. He has had an ultrasound but all his organs are clear e.g. no gallstones etc and has a CAT scan booked for Friday. His bloods are between 7.5 - 8 which for him is average, if he goes much lower he feels sick and dizzy. He cant eat so much now and leaves half of his meal. Should I be worried about this or is it linked to the Metformin? He can't really work either so we have no money coming in. If anyone has any similar experience or comforting words I'd be happy to hear. Or is it possibly nothing to do woith the diabetes at all?
