So I was asking about beetroot in another thread and it got me to thinking
What sort of things do you have in your store cupboard that you can snack on
I have
Pickled beetroot
Peanut butter
Olives stuffed with jalapeño chillies
And this one may divide opinion marmite

Coconut oil and virgin olive oil

To answer the question I snack, if I do snack, on nuts. I got a fine supply in when they sold out stuff after Christmas. If no nuts I have a piece of cheese (possibly with some butter to go with it) or a spoon of tahini or some left-over stuff in the fridge or an avocado should we happen to have one in the house. Or olives of cause, there are always olives in the fridge.

If I need to snack, that is.

Cheese !

Oh and 9 Bars. Great for stuffing in a pocket whilst on the go

Pork scratchings.
Nuts.
Cheese.
Celery.
I don't really do snacking very much.
I want to like olives.
Everyone I know likes olives but .... last time I tried one was out of a tin and it left my mouth like a bullet!

Nothing.
I have never snacked since leaving school (where we got iced buns at morning break with our milk. Those were the days when all school children got milk, not just the infants!)

Pork scratchings and nuts I forgot about those
I absolutely detest olives - how can anyone eat those things? LOL

Olives like marmite are one of those things you either like or hate I think

Now Brussels sprouts and I know I'm digressing from the topic of snacking
But Brussels sprouts I detest them with a vengeance vile vile things

Brussel sprouts in batter .......

No I'm kidding!

Yes to all of those apart from the olives, plus picked onions. In the fridge, cheese and ham, sugar free jelly with blueberries for when I get a sweet craving.

on which you snack? Really, DD I may do hard core LCHF but not even I snack on the above.

i dont think she snaks on those,,,,im guessin she cooks with em and puts olive oil on salads

I read as far as staples in cupboard... And snacks didn'tn register because I don't snack.. My applogies.

Saying that though Lidls got some of those nutty almondy spanish snacks in... 12-15g max. I do have one of these each night now.

No appogies needed
It's a bit of an ambiguous thread really doesn't matter it's either what's in your store cupboard or what's in there that've you snack on I could have phrased the OP better.

I also have beetroot, peanut butter, cashew and peanuts, Babybel cheeses, and celery which is yummy with peanut butter or Philadelphia cream cheese Oh, and I love Marmite
Anything but celery -yuk yuk yuk. If I'm eating out and something has celery in it, I ask for it withouth the dreaded stuff, then I make sure that the dish is somehow "marked" so if they bring it back with just the celery taken away I send it back again as I can still smell the vile stuff.
