Hello,
Greetings!
I always store insulin vial and pen, inside refrigerator. Those are used without problem for years. Today I read Mixtard vial's leaflet where it is mentioned "vial that is being used or carried as a spare is not to be kept in a refrigerator". And it should be kept at room temperature (below 25ºC). I also read the leaflet of insulin Actrapid. Same instruction is mentioned for Actrapid. The leaflets can be found online as pdf file.
Where I stay, the room temperature is 31ºC to 32ºC, or more. Now what should I do? What problem may occur if I keep Mixtard or Actrapid inside refrigerator? If someone knows anything about these, please answer.
Thank you in advance for your kind cooperation.
Best regards.
