Storing Victoza

Hi i have just started injecting Victoza, and I am unsure about storage. Do you store un-used pens and once you use for the first time, do you need to store it back in the fridge or is it okay stored in a cupboard?

Hi Maxster,

In my understanding, you should store unused pens in a refridgerator. Once you have started using a pen, it is okay to store it at room temperature for a max of 30 days, providing it does not get too hot!

Hi

I inject Victoza (Liraglutide) daily. I just store mine in the fridge. It probably wouldn't harm to keep it in a cool bathroom but why take the risk?

I was advised when I started on Victoza that un used pens should be kept in the fridge and the pen you are using should be kept at room temperature.
