Not quite sure what is happening here, my son gave us some news which stressed me out somewhat yesterday evening, was 8.1 at 9pm 2hours after dinner. Got a reading of 4.3 when I got up, did not feel like it was down that far, just tested 2 hours after breakfast 6.6, don't normally increase by that much after breakfast. Is the stress doing strange things to my levels?

Hi Gary, could well be, short or longer term stress is never helpful in my experience. I hope it gets resolved whatever it is.

I agree. Stress does have an impact, but you never quite know which way your BG will jump, or for how long.

Sorry about the (bad) news.

Definitely. Seen it cause my numbers to jump and require pretty aggressive doses to bring back down, though that lead for me can sometimes lead to hypos and bounces.

Thanks for your replies, not sure how to handle things at the moment as it has also coincided with my stressful time at work, preparing the month end figures for the board. Children eh!

I know that more than ever now need to keep myself calm, but struggling today.
