a bit about myself. 26 year old, fit, lift weights, about 73kg.
Grandmother got DM type 2 diagnosed at 60s
One day i decided to test my FBG which turned out to be 5.8 (normal according to the labs cut-off)
i freaked out thinking how come since i am fit and workout 4-5 times a day
the SAME day of my test or in other words right after it i at a large service of white rice and salmon. i then tested my 2 hour PP using a glucose meter which showed 101 ???? how come my 2hr PP is lower than my fasting? lab glitch on the FBG?
the following day i used the same meter and tested 83 FBG and after a large amount of white rice serving + grilled chicken (this time a 0 fat meal) i measured 113 2 hour PP
Those reading seem normal to me but i am not sure if i should test for LADA?
any advice is highly appreciated!

PP readings being lower than fasting is most likely dawn phenomenon where your liver gives you a shot of glucose to get you up and moving in the morning. Most people get this whether diabetic or not. If you are concerned about your numbers ask your doctor to do the basic tests for diabetes. I would not get into expensive antibody tests unless you have an issue with your blood sugar levels according to the tests.

Those readings seem normal to me so I don't understand what you are worrying about. Also, if you eat a large quantity of carbohydrates with no fat to buffer it then that is one sure way to get a higher blood sugar reading.

Welcome.

Using 2 different meters with different units doesn't help. If you feel the need to test and I don't really see why unless you might say to yourself "I wonder what . . . . . " (I know my wife has, out of curiosity), then using the same meter is a good idea because at least the results will be in he same units and any inaccuracy will be constant. It's a bit like using different bathroom scales to weigh yourself. Your grandmother being diagnosed in her 60s doesn't necessarily mean you'll be going down the same path especially as you are obviously young, fit and active.

Looking at the numbers 5.8 mmol/litre (I assume) is about 103.5 mg/dl, then a PP of 101, then 83 and a PP of 113.2. Looking at Diabetes.co.uk very own figures, I suggest looking at the bottom set, your readings are well within the ranges for "Normal" people.

Try not to fixate on testing for diabetes, there are many causes for type II, not all explained by the media's "unhealthy lifestyle". Indeed, if you look at the sort of discussions that take place on this forum, a lot of diabetics don't follow the "1/3 of your calories should be carbs" mantra pushed out by the NHS and NICE, that mantra is probably part of the problem. It may suit some people, but 1/3 of calories being carbs does not suit all.

Thank you all for your kind replies.
I usually am a very health anxious person and i admit sometimes that is not very healthy since it keeps me stressed all the time.
When do you guys think i should repeat the tests based on the results, since it surely wont be mentally healthy for me the keep on repeating them frequently, which will make the anxiety worse.

Get your A1c done by the doctor and I would bet big money it will be normal. If you are really worried get it done once every year or two as part of your routine bloodwork and physical. You might want to speak to your doctor as well about the anxiety.

Thank you guys.
Which do you consider more important, fbs/hba1c or ogtt?
What could explain high normal fbs and normal ogtt?

Personally I consider the Hba1c more important since it not snapshot or one off reading but represents your sugar levels over some weeks.
"High" normal FBS and normal OGTT means there is nothing wrong with you since the FBS is usually a product of a liver dump and is unpredictable.
