i use codefree strips and use amazon, i found codefree strips to be the cheapest to buy but would be interested if they could be bought cheaper elsewhere

I buy the SD Codefree test strips direct from the only UK reseller, Homehealth. They can be found at www.homehealth.co.uk. There are a couple of discount codes which you can use when you buy either 5 or 10 boxes. The codes are:

5 packs 264086
10 packs 975833

Both @ally1 and @henrys1939 - Having had a long conversation with the owner of Homehealth, who are the UK distributor for Codefree a short while ago, I can tell you that the meter and strips cost the same wherever you buy them. That is their steadfast policy. However, if you can afford to buy 5 or 10 packs at a time, it reduced the cost from £6.99 for 50 to just over £5 for 50. That's a decent saving, in my view, when you consider almost any other manufacturer's strips are around £20 for 50. But, I believe Homehealth only do the discount via their own website:

http://www.homehealth-uk.com/medical/blood_glucose_monitor_testing.htm

The discount codes are: 5 packs - 264086, and for 10 packs - 975833

Just to be clear, I have no relationship with Homehealth. I'm just a customer, buying at a decent discount.
