Type 1 Struggle to get my blood sugar back up after hypo!

Hello,

I have been on a pump now for 2.5 years and the last 2 days I've had bad hypo's that have taken a long time to sort out. I mean over over over eating sugar just to get my bloods back to 4.6!!!! My bloods were never through the roof. I have never experienced this ever before in all years and it was a little scary to be honest! Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Hi Devon courts I've had a few bad hypos where my sugars have dropped really low 2.3or about and it's taken a few gluco tabs jelly babies etc and a little time to recover 30mins or more but I'm on injections not a pump if you've only started getting these after over 2yrs perhaps you should make an appointment to see a doctor/dn just in case something else is going on sure someone on the forum who uses a pump will be able too help more so stick around all the best .
