Struggling and worried

Coldness and not being able to get warm again is a sign of too low metabolism and too little thyroid hormons and that can in it self worsen diabetes so maybe not at good idea to get OFF of the thyroid medication anyway Why are you taken OFF of the thyroid medication ?

Sorry I actually had an over active thyroid not under. I'm coming off the medication slowly has my thyroid levels have returned to normal . I'm not coming off straight I'm just lowering the dose every couple of months.

I just wanted to update and say thank you to all the replies
I saw my specialist today and thankfully he listened to me
I explained even though my levels are coming down I literally have to not eat even though I'm on a lot of meds.
He agreed and said that as I will eventually end up on insulin it would not hurt to start a small dose of it sooner and come off the gliclazade. He said the bloods show my levels are down but still not in the range they should be.
I am to take insulin in the morning and evening .
He doesn't think the tingling etc is related to the diabetes as this sort of damage is After long term diabetes but will test my b12 and calcium.
I feel a lot better I'm glad to come of the gliclazade and hope that some insulin will help better control especially my morning levels which are around 11-13 and give me a little mor freedom to eat.
I'm still worried about my tingling feeling - if that's not diabetes what is it??
