Hi @marta Rhemi & welcome to the forum,

Just checking do you have diabetes yourself as your profile info says parent, if so are you T1 or T2?

Your situation sounds painful- also sorry for my ignorance but which toe is the ring toe? I’ve never heard this term as regards to toes only fingers

Ah that makes more sense now @marta Rhemi, and you are doing fine with your English :)

it’s difficult to give you any more advice as we can’t give medical advice on the forum, have anyone you’ve seen actually told you what it is? Is it an open sore with infection or just the swelling? I think the best thing you can do is go back to your GP and for a referral to a specialist

You say your last test for diabetes was 2 years ago was that when you were told you were pre diabetic? It may be worth asking for a Hba1c test at your GP. It could be that you have moved into higher numbers since your last test and if your blood sugars are high that can make healing slower & more difficult

My blood sugar very recently was perfect. There was no open sores until three weeks ago I have very uncomfortable sore under my foot just under my big toe itz unbearable but j assume it's because of the kafge swelling my whole posture gov affected and also the way I walk it was a massive blister that left a hole jn my foot that got infected...HONESTLY I always been very healthy hardly getting Any flu and out of nowhere my foot started expanding into log [[

Sounds awful but as we can’t give any medical advice I think the best thing like I said above is to go back to your GP and see if they can refer you to a specialist or more investigation to see why it’s not healing.
