Any advice my 4 year old blood sugar readings are horiffic before i ring the diabetes team tomorrow any advice, 9.7 at 6.30 22.8 at 8.30 20.8 at 10:30 a 2.5 unit correction was given at 8.30 should have bought down by 15. all shes had since 7:30 is water. X

Am new to this also, just wondered what your daughter was eating to make her high?
My daughter was diagnosed in December and we monitor everything she eats and have noticed any cereal what so ever causes her to go higher than we would like.
Hope you get some answers soon, I know how worrying and stressful this is x

Could it be illness? I presume you have called the diabetes team by now (it's been a day), did they offer any additional insight if so?

Hi sorry just seen this my 2yr old diagnosed Dec. (I'm t1 33yrs too).

Did you bolus at her meal? Did she have something different for her tea?-more carbs or something sweet? Or a sugary drink?
Hypo earlier than 6.30?

Illness other option?

It can take time to bring sugars down when they go that high-I try not to test too soon after a correction and defo wouldn't do anything for my dd more than a standard correction on a night time.
Hope you got sorted xx

Did you have any luck on this? I'm interested to know the follow up!
