Hi I am still adjusting to being diagnosed with mody. It's still very trial and error keeping my blood sugars within the right range.
I'm struggling with what I can eat I have a big sweet tooth and before I was diagnosed I wouldn't think twice about eating chocolate, crisps, cake sweets everything bad basically. I haven't had anything like this since my diagnosis but I'm struggling to find a replacement, I really miss enjoying these things any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi, One thing you could try is looking at our low carb recipes section, or try Googling for recipes. You might ne surprised at the number of recipes there are for delicious low carb alternatives.

I make grated parmesan crisps, eat high cocoa (85%) dark chocolate (in moderation), and make my own cakes and muffins using low carb flours (almond, coconut, sesame). One of our members, Ewelina, has a wonderful diabetic baking blog! So there's no real need to feel deprived.

Hi thanks I've just had a look at the baking blog it looks amazing I will definitely be making some of these!
It's hard sometimes when you think you have had a pretty good tea then get a reading of 11. It was starting to make me feel like what's the point in trying to eat anything I enjoy but this will help
