stubbed my toe

I stubbed my left little toe the other day and it now has a very big purple bruise on it. Do I need to worry about this and see a doctor or just wait for it to go through the usual 'colour changes' relating to bruises? thanks

I would keep my eye on it just to make sure it's just a bruise that is healing. I've never encountered circulation issues or infections from cuts etc but some people have a real issue with that.

Hi @carina62 - I stubbed my Big Toe a few years ago and my toenail became detached. I saw my Practise Nurse and she examined my toe and said all was fine. If you are concerned? - make an appointment and see your Practise Nurse to put your mind at ease.

I don't have any complications apart from background retinopathy but we have to watch out feet carefully don't we?
