Type 2 Success (only 1 day but still)

Being able to maybe do better, does not mean you are already trying hard, and therefore I also say:

Good Job!
All values that goes in the right direction is something to cheer for :)

@Cana - It's entirely up to you where youset your personal risk dials and comfort zones.

There are differing views on where the "safe" place is for those with diabetes. I won't bother posting my own target parameters as they are for me and as such irrelevant to anyone else.

Bearing in mind you are already out of your pre-diagnosis comfort zone, after a few months, it might be reasonable to review your target levels to see how close you might consider, close to non-diabetic levels.

May I ask why you can't not have an appetite when you're working? I'd have thought that might have made things simpler, if you weren't having to think about food.

Because I’m
A driving instructor. If I don’t eat then I feel lousy (go bit too low for me) and it affects my job and my driving.

I remember your first posts Cana and you have faced a fair few challenges, you are doing great. x

Success!! A whole day without going high! 8.7 my highest and that was only 2.1 increase after fruit, choc fudge thing and cream!! Yay! (I am ignoring the .7 over the 8 which is supposed to be the limit- I was still under 9 which will do). I really just need to stay at home. I can do this when I’m at home sitting on sofa in my pjs all day!!

The choc fudge thing is a low carb recipe!!

Even got chocolate didn’t tip my over!! Although I did have that on a 4.6 but still only went to 6.6 if I remember correctly.

I seriously need to give up this work lark!

Woo Hoo! Well done! Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of 20s which have me a bit panicked, even the hospital team can’t figure it out. Today looks good so far so if I can get to bedtime without going over 15 I’ll be pleased, under 9 I’ll be thrilled! Set your own targets and celebrate your success!
