When I first got my libre I set my target range 5-9mml/l, but was only managing to stay in target up to 30% of the time. And my average glucose readings were above 10. So I set myself a target to be in range over 50% of the time and have an average of 9. Thanks to all your help, support and suggestions I have achieved my goal! Even my daily pattern is mostly below 9!

I have achieved this by:
basal testing
insulin to carb ratio 2u to 10g
correction doses, especially at bedtime ensuring I am in target through the night
long walks with the dog in the mornings
just having the confidence to inject a bit more insulin!

I know I have further to go, so my next goal will be 75% in target and average glucose under 8.

Wish me luck!

Good luck @linda321 with reducing your levels further! But I'm sure you don't need luck, you seem more than able in achieving your targets. :)

Yes. Yes... well done... congrats...
But more importantly, where did you get that gorgeous silicone case!?!?
And wot colours does it come in?

More seriously, WELL DONE. I have been following your posts on balancing your insulin dose, and I realise how much effort and hard work it has taken to get this result.
Celebration due. :)

I think the last sentence in your first post is very important. CGM gives you the confidence to try things you wouldn't previously do on blood tests only. You can see the effect & do something about it if you find you are heading for a low.
