I've been taking sudafed for a blocked nose/stuffy sinuses for about three days now, one or two capsules a day.

I've just read the information leaflet and it says do not take if you are suffering from diabetes.

Anyone know any more about this or have any definite experience?

I can only remember one of the docs on my DAFNE course saying she couldn't see why it would be a problem.

It has been known to cause an increase in Blood Glucose levels....in some patients. Merry Christmas ;)

Thanks guys,

I had a look myself as well and it also said that for T2s, there's an issue with BP increase as well. I've only been taking one tablet a day, but I'm feeling a bit beter now so I'll knock it on the head in favour of the usual pain relief.
