Sudden drop in bs levels

Hi I'm type 2 for 1 year just gone from having a reading of 8.4 2 hrs after breakfast 3 weta box semi skinned milk to then 2 hrs later started feeling shaky and trembling checked finger 3.4 can anyone give advice on 30mg glitazide
 
hi there hampsoan :)

Glicazide does indeed have the power to reduce your blood sugar and bring on a hypo.
I would get in touch with your GP or Diabetic nurse regarding dose.
Did they not explain to you that you could go hypo ?
also it does sound as though you are testing -- so carry on doing that !!

in the meantime -- hope you have treated the hypo with a small amount of carbohydrate and are back with us above 4.0 ??

Hi thanks no docs didn't say anything had nightmare 12 months so far sugars erratic no help from docs or nurse finally seeing a consultant in 3 weeks
