I lost a lot of weight and brought my FBG down through weight loss, diet, exercise. My doctor is very happy with my latest blood test. My A1C is at 5.1%, though a few months ago it was 5% so never bad.
The last few days my FBG as checked by my Contour Next whatever meter in the morning is higher than normal. It goes up to 106. Usually it's 82 to 97. My post-meal glucose tends to be around 97 or lower, even after eating something with a lot of carbs in it. Throughout the day I tend to easily return under 100.
The following things have happened lately: Heat wave, stomach has been pretty gurgly and upset, haven't been sleeping as well.
Only my morning FBG seems to be affected.
I'm getting worried, why so suddenly (within a few days). I haven't been diagnosed with anything but this is obviously concerning.
