Hi' diabetic 29 years. Was taken off human insulin due to to allergic reaction. Was changed to animal (pork) insulin. 2 years ago. Now starting to get adverse reaction to this. Anyone else with this problem... any solutions? Think it is the preservatives that cause the problem. Help anyone??

Do you think it's the pork I'm allergic too??
No idea, but it's worth a try I can't use pork insulin but am fine with two of the bovine insulin's. I now use a pump using bovine neutral in it.

No hypo warnings and blood sugars going from very low to very high within an hour and then then doing the reverse trip within that hourThanks for that... hope u don't mind but what symptoms did u have with porcine insulin?
