I do not have diabetes
I thought I had early warning signs for diabetes. I am a 55 year old male. I couldn’t get enough sugar! I was gaining weight and drinking a ton of sugar sodas. That’s not normal for me but I was NEEDing them. What I found out was I was suffering from anxiety and eating because of it mostly having to do with the world situation. Covid equals not working much equals lethargy equals eating equals poor routines. And also drug use. I won’t be specific, but it became a problem. The reason why I’m posting is because I started to take Mounjaro and things started to change. Then something strange happened. My prescription had been left out of the refrigerator for two days before I put it back. I was moving and traveling and could not avoid it. It just happened. I don’t know what happened to my prescription while it was out of the refrigerator. I call it blooming. But whatever was in there went to work on my fat cells and my sugar stores. And then it started to come out of my body and a very fast rate. So fast, in fact, that it came through my skin. And fingernails. And mouth and eyes. I’m sure this was a unparalleled response to a medication I still take and has succEssfully kept me from becoming diabetic. has anyone else experienced anything like that. There’s more, specifically, in terms of a reaction I had. But I gotta know, was I the only one?

Welcome to the forum @DavidRy

I’m sorry, forgive me, but im struggling to understand your post. Are you saying you are on a drug for diabetes but your about info says you are not diabetic and don’t have diabetes? Were you prescribed this drug for another reason? Are you in the UK or another country. It’s my understanding (but I may be wrong) that Mounjaro can only be obtained by prescription in the Uk and then only for people struggling with their diabetes.

What do you mean by it came through your skin and fingernails etc. do you mean the drug or something else?

Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) works by increasing your insulin production and it slows down the emptying of your stomach, keeping you feeling fuller for longer .
It can safely be left unrefrigerated for up to 21 days, any longer and the active ingredients will deterioate causing it to be less effective
